what is platform, 플랫폼이란?

친구 하나 잘 만난 덕에 지난 한 달 넘게 플랫폼(platform)에 대해 끊임없이 생각하게 되었다. 플랫폼에 대한 사전적 정의를 찾기 전에 내가 알고 있는 플랫폼의 정의를 반복해서 생각했다. 그리고 요구 받은 플랫폼에 대해 생각했다. 한 달이 지난 오늘 비로소 플랫폼의 사전적 정의와 실질적 정의에 대해 검색을 해서 읽어 봤다.

내가 예전부터 알고 있는 플랫폼의 정의 그대로다. 하지만 내가 고민해야 할 것은 저런 고전적인 정의 영역이 아니었다. 저것을 포함한 더 많은 것, 아니 더 변화무쌍한 영역을 반영하는 그런 것이었다.

이게 좀 더 내가 생각했던 것과 유사하다. 그리고 상당히 많은 차이가 있는 정의지만 분명 내가 고민했던 것과 연관된 이런 정의도 있다.

내가 찾고자 하는 플랫폼의 정의는 이런 것들의 조합, 그리고 그것을 완전히 버린 후 새롭게 정립되는 정의다.
